Exam and Certification Process
The process for booking and completing the accredited exam follows these steps:
Complete the Online Level 1 Health & Safety Course
- Candidates must first complete the online course that covers fundamental health and safety principles relevant to construction.
Upgrade to Fully Accredited Certificate (Optional)
- Distributors may offer candidates the option to upgrade to a fully accredited certificate.
Book and Take the Online Invigilated Exam
- The exam is remotely proctored and can be taken at a convenient time.
- A computer with a webcam is required for identity verification and monitoring.
- Candidates must read and acknowledge exam instructions, rules, and present valid photo ID before starting the test.
Receive Accredited Certificate Upon Passing
- If the candidate successfully passes the exam, they are awarded the accredited certification.
Apply for the CSCS Green Labourer Card
- After obtaining the accredited certificate, either the candidate or the distributor can apply for the CSCS Green Card.
- It is mandatory to also pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) touchscreen test before applying.
